Delivery & Shipping
Nirvanna Jamaica ships handcrafted world musical instruments from carefully managed warehouses to ensure your singing bowl, handpan, djembe, or kalimba arrives safely and in perfect tune. Here is everything you need to know about how we deliver your instruments.
Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Each instrument is individually inspected, tuned if necessary, and packed with custom protective materials before dispatch. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number.
Instrument-Safe Packaging
We know your instrument is more than a product — it is a handcrafted work of art. Every shipment uses double-walled boxes, high-density foam inserts, and vibration-dampening wrap designed for the specific instrument type. Singing bowls and crystal bowls travel in moulded cushioning. Handpans and tongue drums are secured in rigid shells. Djembes and larger drums are strapped to reinforced pallets when needed. Our goal is zero transit damage.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
| Method | Estimated Delivery | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Shipping | 5–7 business days | Free on orders over USD $79.99 |
| Express Shipping | 2–4 business days | Calculated at checkout |
All standard orders over USD $79.99 qualify for free carbon-neutral shipping. Orders under this threshold have a flat shipping fee calculated at checkout based on instrument size and weight.
International Shipping
We deliver handcrafted instruments to musicians and collectors worldwide. International delivery times vary by destination:
- Canada & Mexico: 7–14 business days
- Europe: 10–18 business days
- Asia & Oceania: 12–21 business days
- Rest of world: 14–28 business days
International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, package dimensions, and instrument weight. Larger instruments such as djembes and handpans may incur higher fees due to oversized packaging requirements. Please note that import duties, customs fees, and local taxes may apply upon arrival and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Order Tracking
Every shipment includes full tracking. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a link to monitor your package in real time. You can also check the status any time on our Order Tracking page using your order number and email address.
Delivery & Receiving Your Instrument
Our carriers will deliver to the address provided at checkout. For larger instruments like djembes or handpans, please ensure someone is available to receive the package — these items require a signature due to their size and value. If no one is available, the carrier may leave a notice with redelivery or collection instructions. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout to avoid delays.
Shipping Restrictions
Due to the size and fragile nature of many handcrafted instruments, we are currently unable to ship to:
- P.O. boxes (instruments require physical delivery addresses)
- Military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO)
If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your location, please contact us before placing your order.
Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages
If tracking shows delivered but your instrument has not arrived, check with neighbours or your building management. If you still cannot locate the package, contact us within 7 days and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
If your package is significantly delayed beyond the estimated window, reach out to our team. We will coordinate with the carrier and, if necessary, send a replacement instrument or issue a full refund.
If your package arrives with visible damage to the outer box, please photograph the exterior before opening. Then carefully unpack and inspect the instrument for cracks, dents, or tonal issues. Contact us immediately with photos so we can arrange a free replacement at no cost to you.
